Wanted: Veterans, Service Members, and Patriots

Why Thousands Have Chosen Two Marines Moving Since 2008

Since November 10, 2008—the Marine Corps’ birthday—Two Marines Moving has employed over 1,000 veterans.

And counting.

That number includes:

  • Marines
  • Soldiers
  • Sailors
  • Airmen
  • Coast Guardsmen
  • Guardians
  • Reservists
  • National Guard
  • Active‑duty service members
  • Law‑enforcement officers
  • ROTC cadets
  • Delayed Entry Program members

This isn’t a marketing angle.

It’s who we are.

Built by a Service Member, for Service Members

Two Marines Moving was founded by Nicholas Edmond Baucom, a Marine Corps infantryman (0311)riflemanSergeant of Marines, and Infantry Squad Leader.

He served under a six‑year Marine Corps Reserve contract, during which:

  • He spent three full years on active duty
  • Was mobilized twice with his reserve unit
  • Supported Operation Iraqi Freedom
  • Lived the active‑duty / reserve balance firsthand

Before shipping to boot camp, he was also once in the Delayed Entry Program himself.
Later, as a Lance Corporal and Marine Recruiter’s Aide, he:

  • Led poolees in physical training
  • Taught basic military knowledge
  • Ran formations
  • Taught how to stand at attention
  • Prepared young men and women—mentally and physically—to ship

This company was built by someone who has lived ever the military life.

A Place for Every Phase of Service

Two Marines Moving employs people across the entire military lifecycle.

Active Duty (All Branches)

We employ active‑duty Marines, Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Guardians, and Coast Guardsmen part‑time.

  • Most work Saturdays and/or Sundays
  • Many work 1–4 days per week
  • Everyone picks their schedule
  • Paid weekly
  • Industry‑leading compensation

This is one of the most practical part‑time jobs for active‑duty service members available.

Reserve & National Guard

We actively employ members of:

  • Marine Corps Reserve
  • Army Reserve
  • Army National Guard
  • Air National Guard
  • Air Force Reserve
  • Navy Reserve
  • Coast Guard Reserve
  • Space Force components

Drill weekends, Annual Training, schools, mobilizations—we understand it because we’ve lived it.

You pick your days.
We build around your service.

Veterans in Transition

We’ve employed veterans:

  • Fresh out of uniform
  • Using the GI Bill
  • Between careers
  • Figuring out what’s next

This is real work, not a sympathy hire.

Strong pay.
Clear standards.
Leadership opportunities.

ROTC Cadets

ROTC cadets make outstanding Team Leaders.

  • College students
  • Military‑screened
  • Values‑aligned
  • Leadership‑tracked

Many ROTC cadets have worked with us all four years of college:

  • 1–3 days per week during semesters
  • Full‑time during winter and summer breaks
  • Dial down during exams, dial up during weekends

If you can’t lead a move, you shouldn’t be leading a platoon.

DEP / POOLEEs (All Branches)

We employ Delayed Entry Program members across all branches.

While you wait to ship, you can:

  • Earn weekly pay
  • Collect daily tips
  • Get in shape through a paid workout
  • Learn from veterans who’ve already been there

This is military‑light, not boot camp—but it prepares you.

Law Enforcement & First Responders

We employ:

  • Active law‑enforcement officers (part‑time)
  • Prior LEOs
  • Officers waiting for academy dates

You might ride in a truck next to a cop and never know it—unless they tell you.

Two Marines Moving is unapologetically pro‑law enforcement and pro‑law‑and‑order.

Ranks We’ve Employed (Accurately)

Over the years, we’ve employed:

  • E‑1 through E‑9
  • O‑1 through O‑6

No generals employed—yet.

That said, we have:

  • Moved several generals
  • Moved at least one Marine Commandant

Rank matters.
But at Two Marines Moving, performance matters more.

Paid to Work Out. Paid to Lead.

This job is:

  • Physical
  • Functional
  • Team‑based

It’s:

  • Strength
  • Cardio
  • Mobility
  • Endurance

All paid.

Most units expect fitness. It’s in your salary in the military.
We pay for it by the hour.

Weekly Pay. Real Gratuity.

At Two Marines Moving:

  • Pay is weekly
  • Gratuity averages $5–$10/hour
  • Leadership earns more because responsibility is higher

Effort shows up in your paycheck—fast.

Not the Military. Not a Free‑for‑All.

Two Marines Moving is:

  • A for‑profit business
  • With hierarchy
  • With standards
  • With leadership

It’s not the Marine Corps.

But it rhymes.

Over 1,000 Veterans. One Standard.

Since 2008, we’ve quietly built something rare:

  • A civilian company that actually understands service
  • A workplace where veterans don’t have to explain themselves
  • A team where pride is earned, not issued

At this point, the founder may need to petition the Secretary of Defense for a Joint Service Award after a successful three‑year tour at Two Marines Moving.

Half‑joking.
Half‑serious.

The Bottom Line

If you are:

  • Active duty
  • Reserve or Guard
  • ROTC
  • DEP
  • Veteran
  • Law enforcement
  • Or someone who respects service and standards

You’ll recognize this environment quickly.

Mission First. Team Always.

Apply today and take your next step in a company that has been putting service members to work—quietly, professionally, and consistently—for nearly two decades.
